The National Society of Genetic Counselors will hold their annual event in November in Nashville
Next month Sandra Prucka, our Senior Director of Patient Engagement Strategy and Operations, will be speaking at the 41st National Society of Genetic Counselors Annual Conference in Nashville. Prucka joins a dynamic group of speakers for the Late-Breaking Plenary session, After the Fall of Roe: Repercussions for Genetic Counseling Practice, one of the most anticipated sessions of the conference every year. Moderated by Susheela Jayaraman, the five speakers will identify the impacts of the overturning of Roe v. Wade on patient options in a variety of genetic counseling settings and through a J.E.D.I and ELSI lens as well as discuss historical and legal perspective of abortion advocacy in the genetic counseling profession.
You can register here to attend the event in person in Nashville Nov. 16-20 or sign up for virtual access.
